Meet the team
Jamie is a current RAF Air Load Master who has operated Lockheed L1011 and the C17. He is experienced in software and digital development and implementation within the RAF. Coupled with his extensive air logistics planning and operational skills experience, ensures Aerotechnology maintains a competitive advantage. On 21 September 2023, Jamie Baxendale was awarded the RAF’s Astra Innovation Award for his development of AirLoader. The panel was impressed with the numerous novel approaches which AirLoader incorporates. From the real-time information sharing within the supply chain through cloud infrastructure, through to automating flight safety critical weight and balance calculations. IT was acknowledged that AirLoader will increase safety, efficiency, accuracy whilst reducing costs. Owing to his outstanding ingenuity and dedication, his work has the potential to revolutionise cargo management practices.
Shayne is a former RAF pilot who has flown C130Js, BAe 146 and C17s in operational environments across the globe. He brings strong organisational and communication skills, with a focus on questioning the norms and increasing organisational efficiencies.
Alec is a current RAF Training Officer with over 13 years experience in the Analysis, Design, delivery and Assurance of Leadership & Management as well as aviation flying and engineer training on both the A400M Atlas & C17. He is an experienced project manager delivering numerous software & managment system upgrades into A400M,C17, A330 MRR as well as the Dassault 900LX (Envoy). Additionally to this he is a Chartered Consultant providing services and support to both the UK MOD & international parteners in the broader Middle East.
